Introduction

The ESPE President Poster Awards are awarded to the five best posters on display at the annual meeting and were first awarded at the 2007 ESPE Annual Meeting in Helsinki.

The ESPE President Poster Awards are bestowed by the Programme Organizing Committee members to the presenting and first author of the five selected posters. The selection criteria are based on the scientific content and on the quality of the poster presentation. The five awarded posters are selected from the 50 poster abstracts which attained the best ratings during the abstract evaluation process.

The winners are announced by the President of the meeting during the ESPE President Poster Awards session held prior to the closing ceremony.

Each award consists of an official ESPE award diploma, a presidential gift and a citation in the list of ESPE award winners.
