Introduction

The Outstanding Clinician Award was established in 2001 and recognises outstanding clinical contribution to the practice of Clinical Paediatric Endocrinology.

The award is given on the basis of nominations received from ESPE members.

The deadline for applications is 15 January each year.

Regulations

  • Candidates must be nominated by 2 ESPE members in writing to the Secretary.
  • A letter of endorsement, outlining the suitability of the nominee for the award, should accompany each nomination.
  • The Secretary will request CV's from each of the nominees.
  • Selection of the winner will be made by the Andrea Prader Prize Selection Committee.

The Outstanding Clinician Award is conferred during a presentation ceremony with a brief response from the winner; the award does not include a lecture within the Andrea Prader Prize Session during the Annual ESPE Meeting.

Eligibility

The award is open to all ESPE members. There is no age limitation.

All applications must be submitted electronically to the ESPE Secretariat at espe@eurospe.org.

Failure to submit applications electronically may result in delays to the process.

All applications will be acknowledged by email. A quick decision will be made by the Review Committee and the successful applicant will be notified by the Secretary within one month of the deadline date.
