Introduction

Travel grants are available for attendance of the annual congress if the applicant has submitted a high quality abstract.

• Only presenting authors of accepted abstracts are eligible (travel grants are not available for attendance of the Summer School).
• A travel grant does NOT entitle the applicant for free registration.
• The travel grant applications will be screened by the Secretary General, who will present them to the Travel Grant Steering Committee for ratification. The Steering Committee's decision is final.
• Preference will be given to applicants from developing countries and those with high scoring abstracts.
• Two travel grants will be given to the two best Winter School students.
• The age limit for applicants is 45 years.
• A 'typical' grant would be €300 for European applicants and €700 for applicants further abroad.
• Application can only be made online upon submission of an abstract.
• Delegates funded by industry are not eligible.
