Please note that the deadline for applications for ESPE members to attend the  3rd NICHe conference "Signal Transduction and Child Health" has been extended until 1 February 2010.  The conference will take place from 21 to 23 May 2010 in Gothenburg, Sweden, and runs alongside the first ESPE Science School. We have reserved opening for 20 ESPE members or their delegates who wish to actively (present a poster) participate. Applications can be made through the Conference Organiser sten.renstad@semser.se and ESPE members will need to pay their own travel, but will be exempt of registration, accommodation and provision fees.

This is the third in a series of high-profile conferences devoted to future research directions in child health. The series is based on our conviction that it is the responsibility of those of us involved in today’s biomedical research enterprise to translate the remarkable scientific innovations we are witnessing into health gains for children.
