EASD - Evgenia Patrakeeva (RU), ISPAD - Natasha Bratina (SI), ESPE - Rasa Verkauskiene (LT).
The Joint EASD/ISPAD/ESPE Postgraduate Education Course on Type 1 Diabetes in Children Adolescents and Young Adults is open to all physicians, paediatricians, health care professionals and nurses working with type 1 diabetes patients.
Unfortunately, the EASD Board has taken the decision that EASD will not run any postgraduate courses this year (2022), neither face-to-face nor online. In the foreseeable future, all EASD postgraduate activities will focus on their e-Learning platform. Therefore, the joint EASDS/ISPAD/ESPE course is canceled for now. Nevertheless, the course steering committee hope that there might be a new chance for a joint course in the years to come
The first Joint EASD/ISPAD/ESPE Postgraduate Education Course on Type 1 Diabetes in Children, Adolescents and Young Adults took place from 22 to 24 November 2018 in Prague, Czech Republic, at Don Giovanni Hotel where speakers and participants form outside Prague were also accommodated for the course duration. The course programme with lectures and workshops was developed by Ragnar Hanas, Rasa Verkauskiene and Jan Lebl.
