2012 NICHe Invitation and Programme (pdf) (399kb)
This is ESPE series of high-profile conferences devoted to future research directions in child health. The concept of the series is to bring together clinical scientists, mostly from among ESPE members, with top world basic scientists in a specific field that we feel will make a difference in biomedical research.
The series is based on our conviction that it is the responsibility of those of us involved in today’s biomedical research enterprise to translate the remarkable scientific innovations we are witnessing into health gains for children.
Lectures at the meetings are by invitation. Up to twenty ESPE members who are actively involved in the topic and wish to present a poster are welcome to attend, whereby registration accommodation and provision, but not travel expenses, are offered by the host as a partaking grant. Participation is also offered to students of the ESPE Science School, which is held back-to-back with NICHe conferences. ESE members who wish to take part in a NICHe Conference are asked to contact the NICHe Host.
ESPE members or national paediatric endocrine societies who wish to host the joint NICHe-ESS event in the future are invited to contact the coordinator. The host will be asked to nominate a member who will join the Scientific Committees for that event and find local resources to support its expenses.
