This year, on 30 March 2012, you will have the possibility to apply for two different grants: the ESPE-RU Collaborative project grant (the goal of which is to facilitate research network among ESPE members in all pediatric endocrinology fields) and the IFCAH-ESPE grant (the goal of which is to promote research specifically on congenital adrenal hyperplasia).

2012 ESPE-RU Collaborative Project Grant Support

ESPE is pleased to announce that Sandoz continues to be the sponsor in 2012 of the ESPE Research Unit.

To submit a research project, please complete the Preliminary Application form available here and submit it online to Dr Irène Netchine by 30 March 2012.

The ESPE Research Unit Scientific Committee will review all of the preliminary applications and the applications that fulfil the aims of this initiative will be invited to submit a Complete Collaborative Research Grant Application.

The collaborative research grant will be peer reviewed.

Important deadlines are:

1) The deadline for submitting a Preliminary Application is 30 March 2012

2) The deadline for submitting a completed Collaborative Research Grant is 4 May 2012.

2012 IFCAH-ESPE grant

We are pleased to announce that this year, ESPE is also part of the IFCAH-ESPE grant committee (see attached invitation). IFCAH is a private fund raising project, aiming to promote academic research on congenital adrenal hyperplasia. In 2012, it launches its second call for projects, in collaboration this year with ESPE. The application also has to be submitted by 30 March 2012 through the IFCAH website (http://ifcah.org).

The recipients of these two grants will be announced at the 51st ESPE Meeting in Leipzig, Germany (20-23 September 2012).
