This year, on 25 March, you will have the possibility to apply for two different grants: the ESPE-RU Collaborative project grant (whose goal is to facilitate research network among ESPE members in all paediatric endocrinology fields) and the IFCAH-ESPE grant (whose goal is to promote research specifically on congenital adrenal hyperplasia).
2013 ESPE-RU Collaborative Project Grant Support
ESPE is pleased to announce that Sandoz continues to be the sponsor of the ESPE Research Unit in 2013.
To submit a research project, please complete the Preliminary Application form available on the ESPE site (www.eurospe.org/research/index.html) and submit it online to Pr Irène Netchine by 25 March 2013.
The ESPE Research Unit Scientific Committee will review all of the Preliminary Applications and the applications that fulfil the aims of this initiative will be invited to submit a Complete Collaborative Research Grant Application.
The collaborative research grant will be peer reviewed.
Important deadlines are:
1) The deadline for submitting a Preliminary Application is 25 March 2013.
2) The deadline for submitting a completed Collaborative Research Grant is 29 April 2013.
2013 IFCAH-ESPE grant
We are pleased to announce that this year, ESPE is also part of the IFCAH-ESPE grant committee (see attached invitation). IFCAH [link to http://ifcah.org] is a private fundraising organisation, aiming to promote academic research on congenital adrenal hyperplasia. In 2013, it launches its third call for projects, in collaboration with ESPE for the second year. The deadline for applications is also 25 March 2013 through the IFCAH website (http://ifcah.org).
The recipients of these two grants will be announced at the 9th Joint Meeting of Paediatric Endocrinology in Milan, Italy.
