Council Structure
The council has nine members with voting rights:
- President
- Chair of the Strategic and Finance Committee (SFC) / Treasurer
- Chair of Corporate Liaison Board (CLB)
- Chair of Communication Committee (CC)
- Chair of Clinical Practice Committee (CPC)
- Chair of Education and Training Committee (ETC)
- Chair of Program Organizing Committee (POC)
- Chair of Science Committee (SC)
- Host of Annual ESPE Meeting of that year
Members without voting rights:
- Host-elect for the Annual ESPE Meeting of next year
- If applicable:
- President-elect 12 months prior to hand-over
- Treasurer-elect 3 months prior to hand-over
In addition the council is extended with third party representatives supporting the council:
- The sponsor manager who supports the CLB chair
- The supervising event manager who is working with the POC chair, the host of the Annual ESPE Meeting of that year, and with the representative of the Annual ESPE Meeting management
- The representative of the organisation responsible for the Annual ESPE Meeting management
The president also chairs the council satellite Affiliated Societies Scheme (ASS) and the Andrea Prader Committee (APC) which is a subcommittee of the SFC, and is a member of the SFC, the CLB, the Rare Disease Advisory Committee (RDAC), and the Policy and Advocacy Committee (P&A).
The chair of SFC/Treasurer also chairs the Travel Grant Committee (TGC) which is a steering committee of the SFC and is a member of the APC and of the CLB.
