We invite our members to apply for the position of Steering Committee Member of our Caucasus & Central Asia School. The vacancy has arisen due to the end of the term of office of Rimma Bazarbekova. The three-year appointment will start in July 2018.

The Steering Committee takes responsibility for the school’s programme.  The successful applicant is expected to attend and participate actively in the Caucasus and Central Asia School. He/she will teach and be involved in mentoring the students. The workload consists of several emails and preparation work, attendance at the Caucasus & Central Asia School, evaluation of submitted applications, and face to face steering committee meetings every year (during the School).

Applicants should have a wide knowledge of the published literature in paediatric endocrinology in general and detailed knowledge in more than one specific area. Preference will be given to candidates with good knowledge of the Russian language and whose interests are complementary to those of the current members of the steering committee. The appointment will be made by the ESPE Council on recommendation from the existing steering committee.
