Maghreb School Steering Committee Coordinator vacancy

We invite our members to apply for the position of Coordinator of our Maghreb School. The three-year appointment will start at the Education and Training Committee meeting in June 2019, for a period of handover with current Coordinator Dr Malcolm Donaldson, who will finish in this role after the November 2019 Maghreb School in Sousse, Tunisia.

The Chairperson is expected to take overall responsibility for the programme and logistics of the School.  The workload consists of several emails and preparation work, attendance at the Maghreb School, evaluation of submitted applications, and chairing face-to- face Steering Committee meetings every year (during the School). The Coordinator is also a member of the Education and Training Committee, which meets 3-4 times a year (a combination of face-to-face and teleconference).

Applicants should have a wide knowledge of the published literature in paediatric endocrinology in general and detailed knowledge in more than one specific area. The applicant must have a good command of the French language.

Ideally, the successful candidate will already have served at least one term as a member of the Maghreb School Teaching Faculty. .
