Maghreb School Steering Committee member vacancy
Deadline: 13 December 2021
We are seeking applications from the ESPE membership for one member of the Maghreb School Steering Committee. The three-year appointment will start in March 2022 to plan for the School in November 2022. The vacancy has arisen due to Guy Van Vliet completing his extended term of office.
The main task of the Maghreb School Steering Committee is to develop the programme and participate in the evaluation of applications for the school. The successful applicant is also expected to attend and participate actively in the Maghreb School, teaching and mentoring the students. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet and impart your knowledge to paediatricians from North-Africa, while gaining valuable experience of different professional practices, cultures and teaching styles.
Applicants must have a good command of the French language. Applicants should have a wide knowledge of published literature in paediatric endocrinology in general and detailed knowledge in more than one specific area.
The workload consists of email communication and preparatory work, attendance at the Maghreb School, evaluation of submitted applications, and face to face steering committee meetings every year (during the ESPE Annual Meeting).
The appointment will be made by the ESPE Council following recommendation by the Maghreb School Steering Committee, who will take into consideration the interests and specialist areas of applicants, to complement those of the current members of the steering committee.
If you are interested in applying for this post, please send an electronic copy of your CV and a covering letter to the ESPE Team at: email@example.com by 13 December 2021.
All applicants should read the ESPE Committee Guidelines before applying.
