Maghreb School Steering Committee Member Vacancy: Deadline 3 December

We are seeking applications for one member of the Maghreb School Steering Committee. The three-year appointment will start in January 2019, in preparation for the 2019 Maghreb School taking place in November 2019. The vacancy has arisen from the end of term of office of Professor Christina Kanaka-Gantenbein.
The main task of the Maghreb School Steering Committee is to develop the programme and participate in the evaluation of applications for the school. The successful applicant is also expected to attend and participate actively in the Maghreb School, teaching and mentoring the students. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet and impart your knowledge to paediatricians from North-Africa, while gaining valuable experience of different professional practices, cultures and teaching styles.
Applicants must have a good command of the French language. Applicants should have a wide knowledge of published literature in paediatric endocrinology in general and detailed knowledge in more than one specific area.
The workload consists of email communication and preparatory work, attendance at the Maghreb School, evaluation of submitted applications, and face to face steering committee meetings every year (during the ESPE Annual Meeting).
The appointment will be made by the ESPE Council following recommendation by the Maghreb School Steering Committee, who will take into consideration the interests and specialist areas of applicants, to complement those of the current members of the steering committee.
