We are seeking applications for a member of the ESPE Programme Organising Committee (POC) following the end of Philippe Lysy’s term of office. The 3-year appointment will start immediately on selection in early 2023. The successful applicant will have a special interest in diabetes mellitus. 

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key part in the biggest event in ESPE’s calendar, which is attended by around 4,000 paediatric endocrinologists. The main tasks of the POC are to develop the programme of the Annual Meeting, integrating suggestions from the membership, and to participate in the evaluation of submitted abstracts.

The workload consists of one teleconference every two months, ongoing emails and preparation work, and two face-to-face meetings every year (one during the annual ESPE meeting). Applicants should have a wide knowledge of the published literature on paediatric endocrinology in general and a detailed knowledge of diabetes mellitus.

The appointments will be made by the ESPE Council following a recommendation by the POC.
