Apply for a Travel Grant for the Joint Congress 2025

Both ESPE and ESE offer travel grants to eligible members of each Society to support them in attending their annual Congress or Meeting.

Travel Grants are intended to support the participation of junior delegates such as fellows in training, post–docs and PhD students for attendance of the ESPE Annual Meeting if the applicant has submitted a high-quality abstract.

To apply for a Travel Grant for the Joint Congress of ESPE and ESE, you must have submitted an abstract.

How to apply

  1. Download and fill out the application form
  2. Send the completed form to espe@mci-group.com no later than Monday 3 February 2025
  3. If your application is accepted, you will be contacted and asked for payment details
  4. If your application is unsuccessful, you will be notified after the deadline.

Please note:

  1. Applying for a Travel Grant does not mean that you will be accepted. You will be notified of the outcome of your application after the deadline.
  2. Only the Lead Author (the presenter and submitter) of the abstract can be awarded the Travel Grant.
  3. If you received an ESPE Travel Grant in 2023 or 2024, you will not be eligible for a Travel Grant in 2025.

Grant information
If you are eligible and would like to be considered for a grant, please select the relevant box when submitting your abstract. Several travel grants of up to €500 per grant will be available for the meeting.

Eligibility criteria
Specific requirements:

  1. Clinicians/Allied Health Professionals should be in a training post
  2. Scientists should be in a post below a PI position.

Selection Criteria
Travel grants will be awarded on the basis of the strength of the abstract submission and will depend on total funds available for the Joint Congress.
