Role
Would you like to be part of ESPE’s friendly, knowledgeable, active Newsletter Editorial Board that steers the development of ESPE’s popular and well-respected quarterly newsletter?
As a member of the Board, you will have opportunities to expand your professional network, always be up to date on novel clinical and translational developments in paediatric endocrinology, as well as be one of the first to get hear about ESPE initiatives and key events.
You will also have the chance to develop your skills in science communication, including networking with colleagues to commission articles, writing hot topics, and choosing the content of future issues. You will be supported by the other Board members and a team of communications professionals who manage the production process.
The Editorial Board meets quarterly (meetings are virtual, with the opportunity to meet in person at the ESPE Annual Meeting) and communicates by email throughout the rest of the year to compile each of the issues.
About ESPE News
The newsletter is a vital tool to report on ESPE’s many activities, as well as giving members information, updates and insights into important work being undertaken across the field of paediatric endocrinology. The newsletter has gone from strength to strength in recent years, with increasing interactivity across a wide range of devices.
Appointment
One of our Board members has completed their term of office and we welcome applications from ESPE members for an initial 3-year appointment.
We particularly welcome applications from members who are organised, comfortable with medical writing (support is available for those whose first language is not English) and keen to disseminate interesting information across the global paediatric endocrine community.
When appointing a candidate, consideration will be given to the diversity of the Editorial Board.

The appointment will be recommended by the existing Editorial Board members and ratified by the ESPE Council.
