Committee Position: Chair of Committee Vacancy: Chair of Programme Organising Committee (POC)

Applications are now open for an available position as POC Chair on the ESPE Council. The position has arisen as a result of the completion of the first term of office of Peter Kühnen as POC Chair.

Please note that Peter Kühnen is standing for re-election for a second term of three years.

This post is open to all ESPE members who belong to non-sanctioned countries/ organisations. Read the sanctions policy. In accordance with Clause 8.4 of the ESPE Byelaws, employees of pharmaceutical companies may not be nominated for a Council position.

To apply, please send the following to the ESPE Head Office by Friday 20 March 2026.

• A copy of your CV
• A letter of motivation
• A short video introducing yourself and your interest in the role (please note this will be uploaded to ESPE’s YouTube channel as part of the voting process)

All applicants should read the POC remit, and the ESPE Committee Guidelines before applying.

Applications will be assessed by the current Council, and the applicants will be informed by April 2026 if their candidacy will proceed for formal election.

ESPE Committee Chairs also serve as Directors and Trustees of the ESPE Company and Charity and should be aware of the roles and responsibilities of charity Trustees.
