Application deadline: 17 April 2026
We are seeking applications from the ESPE membership for the position of member of the ESPE Winter School Steering Committee. The vacancy has arisen due to current member, Professor Justin Davies, completing their term of office. The three-year appointments will start in May 2026.
The main task of the Winter School Committee is to develop the programme and participate in the evaluation of applicants for the School. The successful applicants are expected to attend and participate actively in the Winter School – they will teach and be involved in mentoring the students. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet and impart your knowledge to paediatricians from across the world, while gaining valuable experience of different professional practices, cultures and teaching styles.
Applicants should have a wide knowledge of published literature in paediatric endocrinology in general, and detailed knowledge in more than one specific area. Preference will be given to candidates whose interests are complementary to those of the current members of the steering committee.
The workload consists of email communication and preparation work, attendance at the Winter School, evaluation of submitted applications, and face to face steering committee meetings every year (during the Winter School).
The appointment will be made by the ESPE Council following recommendation by the Winter School Steering Committee.
