Committee Vacancy: Young ESPE (YES) Group Leadership

March 5 All day

Committee Position: Leadership roles x2
Application deadline: 05 March 2025

Applications are now invited from Young ESPE (YES) Group members to apply for the roles of YES Group Leaders. YES Group provides support for early career paediatric endocrinologists, so that they can share expertise and grow their careers through access to professional development, collaboration and research opportunities. YES Group is led by 6 representatives (YES Leaders) who all sit within ESPE’s main committees, giving a voice to early career paediatric endocrinologists within ESPE.

There are 2 vacancies available for new YES Group Leaders, who will have equal standing in the YES Leadership and will serve a 3-year term. The selection and appointment will be made by the YES Group Leadership. The role of newly appointed YES leaders will be starting in October, but until then they will immediately start participating in the YES group’s activities by “shadowing” the current YES leaders in order to ensure a smooth transition of duties and activities.

The main duty of YES Leaders will be to continue supporting and engaging the early career ESPE members, including representing YES members within specific ESPE Committees, organizing educational and networking events, collaborating with similar early career groups, providing mentorship opportunities for members and keeping members up to date with the latest career opportunities. Please contact us for any questions or additional details regarding the roles and duties of YES Leaders.
