What to expect

The course extends over four days and is composed of the following:

  • Interactive lectures given by the teaching faculty consisting of senior ASPED & ESPE members
  • Case presentations by each student
  • Presentation of student research projects
  • Critical evaluation of selected publications
  • Small group teaching:
    • Student and teachers clinical case
    • Research project presentations

Criteria

  • The School is designed for fellows, trainees and junior consultants in Paediatric Endocrinology practicing in Arab countries.
  • Applicants should be ASPED members.
  • All applications will be reviewed by ASPED-ESPE Endocrine Academy steering committee and successful applicants will be notified of their acceptance.

Costs

There is no registration fee for the ASPED-ESPE Endocrine Academy.

Accommodation and meals will be provided free of charge, and travel grants will cover a train or reasonably priced plane ticket to the host city (tbc) railway station or airport.

Participants who apply for membership for the year immediately following their attendance at a school will be entitled to one year’s free ESPE membership. Please note that this does not apply to existing ESPE members.
