The aim of the school is to provide senior trainees with up-to-date teaching in selected areas of paediatric endocrinology, enabling and promoting discussions and interactions between younger and more senior paediatric endocrinologists with the idea to develop future leaders in paediatric endocrinology.

What to expect

The course extends over three days and is composed of the following:

  • Interactive lectures given by the teaching faculty
  • Case presentations by each student
  • Presentation of student research projects
  • Critical evaluation of selected publications

Criteria

  • The Summer School fellows usually consist of physicians still in academic training in paediatric endocrinology, who are selected by the Summer School Steering Committee.
  • Applicants must have had at least one year of clinical training in Paediatric Endocrinology.
  • Applicants should not have previously attended the Summer School.
