Travel to Athens from overseas

By air: Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos”

By ferry: Piraeus, Rafina and Lavrion ferry ports

Travel in Athens
  • Bus Χ95 (direction Syntagma, €20 and is valid for 24hrs)
  • Metro line (approx. 35 minutes) will take you to the Megaron (€6)
  • Taxi should cost around €25-€30

From the railway station: 30 minutes to the Concert Hall Metro station (The Megaron)
From Piraeus: a few minutes on the Metro 


Travel around Athens
You can get to the Megaron by public transport from any part of Athens:
Metro: located on the direct metro line
Bus:  buses Ε14, Α5 and 550 stop in front of the Megaron 
Electrically driven bus:  buses 10 and 3 stop right in front of the Megaron

Taxi: approx. 5 minutes from the city centre
