Opened in 1987, the Austria Center Vienna is Austria’s largest conference centre. With 24 lecture rooms, 180 meeting rooms, 22,000 square metres of exhibition space and a capacity of up to 20,000, the centre is among the top destinations on the international conference circuit.

By air

Travel from the airport 

City Airport Train 

The City Airport Train (CAT) takes just 16 minutes to to reach Landstrasse/Wien Mitte station. Trains run every 30 minutes during the day. From here, catch the U4 or U3 underground train to Schwedenplatz and then the U1 to Kaisermühlen VIC, which is directly outside the venue. The journey from Landstrasse/Wien Mitte station to the venue should take around 30 minutes.

Rail S-bahn commuter railway 

S-bahn commuter railway (S7) takes 27 minutes to to reach Landstrasse/Wien Mitte station. Trains run every 30 minutes during the day. From here, catch the U4 or U3 underground train to Schwedenplatz and then the U1 to Kaisermühlen VIC, which is directly outside the venue. The journey from Landstrasse/Wien Mitte station to the venue should take around 30 minutes.

Airport Shuttle 

Vienna Airport Lines runs a direct service to the Austria Center Vienna. The bus takes 30 minutes to the Wien Kaisermühlen/VIC outside of the venue. The Airport shuttle runs every 30-60 minutes during the day.

Taxi
The airport is located directly on the A4 motorway. It takes around 25 minutes to reach the Austria Center by taxi.

Travel around Vienna

Vienna has a fully integrated public transport network consisting of 5 underground lines, 28 tram routes and more than 100 bus routes.

It takes just 7 minutes to reach the Austria Center Vienna from Stephansplatz in the heart of the old town using the Underground line U1 (red) from U1 station Kaisermühlen (VIC) exiting at Schüttaustrasse Station.
