General Information

Accreditation 

We are seeking accreditation for ESPE 2021 Online from European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME).

CME Points and Certificates

CME points will only be awarded if:

 
  • The content is viewed in real-time (live) 
 
  • Each qualifying session is viewed for a minimum of 20 minutes
 
  • An evaluation of each session viewed is completed.

CME certificates will be sent approximately one month after the online Meeting. You will only be able to receive CME credits for the content that you watch live. CME credits are not awarded for any sessions watched on-demand following the ESPE 2021 Online Meeting.


Language

The official language of ESPE 2021 Online is English.


Photography

In accordance with the ESPE Meeting policy, it is strictly forbidden to take photographs of presentations during sessions or of e-posters. If you want to request a download of the poster you may be able to do so on the platform.

Fully accredited members of the Press are invited to attend ESPE 2021 Online. For more information please contact media@endocrinology.org.


Social Media Policy

The European Society of Paediatric Endocrinology welcomes the use of social media. To ensure that the needs of all parties are met, we ask that delegates using social media comply with the following policy.

 
  • We ask that all writers attending ESPE 2021 Online gain approval from a speaker/poster presenter prior to quoting or publishing that individual’s scientific results on the internet or through other forms of media. This policy applies to both professional writers/journalists and to non-journalists blogging about the Meeting or otherwise sharing information amongst a group of individuals.
 
  • Please refrain from taking photos of any presentation/e-poster without prior consent from the Meeting organisers.

Preferred browser

Cancellation or modification of the online Meeting

ESPE has the right to alter or cancel the online Meeting without prior notice. This includes any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of ESPE which prevents or impedes the holding of the online Meeting. ESPE are not liable for any direct or indirect, incidental or consequential damages, losses, expenditures or any other inconveniences or costs caused by such modification or cancellation of the online Meeting. In such an event, ESPE shall reimburse the registration fees.


Disclaimer/ Liability

The European Society of Paediatric Endocrinology and Bioscientifica Ltd cannot accept liability for injuries or losses of whatever nature incurred by delegates whilst viewing the ESPE 2021 Online content. Neither ESPE nor its committees, representatives or agents, shall be held liable by any person as a result of the cancellation of the ESPE 2021 Online or of any of the arrangements, programs or plans connected therewith. Participants are fully liable for damages caused to third parties and property.
