The Working Group on Thyroid aims to improve current knowledge on thyroid disorders in children and adolescents, bring together clinical physicians and basic scientists involved in and/or interested in the field, and encourage the submission of findings to the annual ESPE Meetings.

Our proposals for research projects and dissemination of knowledge on the thyroid field in the next few years concern different topics in thyroid diseases, from newborn screening to diagnosis, follow-up and specific treatments.

Special attention should be made for dissemination of actions and communication inside ESPE (social media, newsletter and other actions of ESPE Communication Committee), YES Group, ESE, ETA, Endo-ERN (MTG8 thyroid group and the whole ENDO-ERN group), patients’ associations in different European countries (also via e-PAG through ENDO-ERN), including patients’ involvement in research projects.
