We are only a couple of months away from the first ever Joint Congress of ESPE and ESE in Copenhagen, Denmark on 10-13 May 2025. The early bird deadline has now passed, but the standard registration deadline is coming up next month on 24 April. Remember, ESPE members receive discounted registration fees so make sure you have applied for or renewed your membership in good time.
Don’t forget to also take a look at the social events we have planned! Our networking event will take place at the famous Tivoli, and this year the event for our early-career members is being held at the vibrant Halmtorvet Club.
We are also looking forward to presenting the latest joint project we have been working on with the European Society of Endocrinology (ESE). The EndoCompass project covers eight areas of (paediatric) endocrinology, and five that cut transversally across these areas, delineating a direction for future research and needed investments for better endocrine health for all. EndoCompass is the first ambitious effort to articulate a common vision on research priorities in the coming years. We are delighted to announce a brand-new ESPE School for 2025 – the Moldova School on Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes will be held in June and is intended for networking and continuous medical education in paediatric endocrinology and diabetes for English-speaking fellows from Moldova, Ukraine, and Romania. Make sure to apply by 31 March.
The call for applications to join the ESPE Science Committee as the Convenor of the Visiting Professorship Grant are open until 09 April. If you would like to apply for this role, the full role description can be found online, as well as how to apply.
We are currently accepting applications for the ESPE Early Career Scientific Development Grant, which offers financial support to paediatric endocrinologists and basic scientists for gathering information and experience on specific topics. You can find full details and eligibility criteria on the website. The application deadline is May 31, 2025.
