ESPE Summer School 2024 - Applications are now open! Deadline 31 May 2024
ESPE Summer School will be held at Thornton Hall Hotel & Spa, near Liverpool, from Wednesday 13th to Friday 15th of November 2024.
The aim of the school is to provide senior trainees with up-to-date teaching in selected areas of paediatric endocrinology; enabling and promoting discussions and interactions between younger and more senior paediatric endocrinologists with the idea to develop future leaders in paediatric endocrinology.
What to expect at an ESPE Summer School
The course extends over three days and is composed of the following:
- Interactive lectures given by the teaching faculty
- Case presentations by each student
- Presentation of student research projects
- Critical evaluation of selected publications
The Summer School fellows usually consist of physicians still in academic training in paediatric endocrinology, who are selected by the Summer School Steering Committee. Applicants must have had at least one year of clinical training in Paediatric Endocrinology. Applicants should not have previously attended the Summer School.
There is no registration fee for the Summer School.

ESPE Summer School 2023
The 2023 Summer School was held face-to-face from 18th - 20th September 2023 in Badhotel Rockanje, on the Dutch coast, prior to the ESPE 2023 Annual Meeting in The Hague.

ESPE Summer School 2022
The 2022 Summer School was held face-to-face from September 12th - 14th in Le Tre Vaselle, Torgiano (Perugia), prior to the ESPE 2022 Annual Meeting in Rome. The report from the School can be found here.
Delegates from previous Summer School's are able to access the speaker presentations from the course with the log in information provided as part of attendance.

Participants who apply for membership for the year immediately following their attendance at a school will be entitled to one year's free ESPE membership. Please note that this does not apply to existing ESPE members.
