Link identified between visceral fat and risk of preeclampsia

A Chinese study, published in The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, has found that higher levels of visceral fat can accelerate the age at menarche in women, which increases risk of developing preeclampsia during pregnancy.
