ESPE and the entire paediatric endocrinology community are saddened by the devastating situation in Turkey and Syria following the recent earthquake. We stand by our colleagues who have been affected and wish them strength, courage and hope in these difficult times. ESPE will actively support the Turkish Society of Paediatric Endocrinology by way of aid to the region wherever we can.

I am delighted to report that plans for the 61st Annual ESPE Meeting are progressing well and registration will be opening soon. Keep an eye on the website for more details, and in the meantime, register your interest and take a look at the provisional programme. I look forward to welcoming you all to The Hague in September!

Please remember that all ESPE members must renew their membership to continue receiving all their benefits. If you are yet to renew, please note that you must renew before 30 April 2023, after this date your membership will be lapsed. We start 2023 with much change. We have now transitioned from Bioscientific to our new association management company, MCI. On behalf of the Council, I would like to thank Bioscientifica for all of the support and guidance they have provided to ESPE over the last 18 years.
