I start this month with news to share with you – abstracts for ESPE 2024 are open and we welcome submissions until 20 May! Submit your abstract today and seize the opportunity to receive useful feedback, helping you to progress your work, as well as boosting your networking and presentation skills.

With options to attend In-Person or On-demand, by registering your interest you will be the first to know when registration officially opens. We currently have two grants open for applications. The ESPE Visiting Professorship of Rare Diseases is currently open for applications. This grant enables scientific renewal and the development and sustaining of long-term partnerships that lead to the development of new projects and funding, for established paediatric endocrinologist. The deadline for applications is 15 April and successful applicants will receive a maximum of €15,000.
The Early Career Scientific Development Grant offers financial support to paediatric endocrinologists and basic scientists for the purpose of gathering information and experience on a specific research issue or on a laboratory technique in the field of paediatric endocrinology. Submit your application by the 31 May to be in with the chance to receive up to €2,500.
I am also delighted to announce that applications for the ESPE Summer School are now open! It will be held on 13-15 November in Liverpool, UK, and aims to provide senior trainees with up-to-date teaching in selected areas of paediatric endocrinology. Submit your application by 31 May!
We are also calling for nominations for the position of Science Committee Chair. You can view full details of the role and application process on the website, if you are interested in the position, we want to hear from you! Please ensure to apply by 30 April.
