As we move towards the end of the year, I want to remind Members that there is still a lot to get involved in before we enjoy the festive break.
ESPE offers six prestigious awards; the Andrea Prader Prize, Research Award, International Research Award, International Outstanding Clinician Award, Outstanding Clinician Award, and the Young Investigator Awards. The deadline for all is fast approaching so make sure to make your nominations by 10 December, find full details for each award on the ESPE website.
Our final ESPE Connect webinar of the year is coming up on 13 December and this time we will be focusing on various stages of puberty, including genetic influences on pubertal timing, environmental impact on pubertal timing, and the impact of mini-puberty on fertility. In partnership with ESPE and the European Society of Endocrinology (ESE), International Fundraising for Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (IFCAH) is launching its 2024 call for research proposals to promote research into congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH). A total of €350 000 is available, and you are invited to apply for up to €150 000 for research relevant to CAH. Ensure to submit letters of intent by 15 January 2024, find full details on the website.
The Winter issue of the ESPE Newsletter has recently been released and this issue we focus on education and training offered through ESPE, including the European Training Syllabus, ESPE Schools, Fellowships, and e-Learning platform. We also shine a spotlight on all of the award winners from the ESPE Annual Meeting earlier this year.
