There’s not long now until the 61st ESPE Annual Meeting in The Hague and I am looking forward to meeting with you all. Early bird registration has now closed, but standard registration will remain open until 07 August. Applications received after this date will be charged at the ‘Late & Onsite’ registration rate. Registration will be available online until Saturday 23 September, which is the last day of the Meeting.
The ESPE Early Career Scientific Development Grant deadline is 30 September and offers financial support to paediatric endocrinologists and basic scientists for the purpose of gathering information and experience on a specific research issue, or a laboratory technique in the field of paediatric endocrinology. Applications are open to attend the 2023 Science Symposium, which will be held on 13-14 October at the Megaron International Conference Center in Athens, Greece. This Symposium on Obesity in Childhood and Adolescence is the fourth in a series of high-profile ESPE conferences devoted to future research directions in child health. The 2023 Symposium aims to provide an overview of the pathophysiology, etiology and metabolic complications of childhood obesity, strategies for its prevention, and the role of pharmacotherapy and bariatric surgery.
